Also, I can't see this working out well given the limited bicycle storage on the 22ks. Might have made more sense to put the bikes directly on a truck at Heuston and passengers meet them at Killarney and cut out the train entirely(not sure how to deal with people coming from other origins). All I see happen is a bunch of bikes clogging up vestibules and corridors on trains towards Mallow.

All the services from Heuston have the DVT on Cork train so not a problem.

Somehow, about 8,500 bikes arrived in Killarney and alll went of well. I didn't hear any stories of lost bikes or problems in transportation.
