Bayside Station closed due to flooding by Press Office

UPDATE 2nd July, 8.35

Bayside Station is currently closed due to flooding of the station building, following torrential rain overnight.

Rail services are operating to and from Howth, but will not serve Bayside Station - customers are advised to use Sutton or Howth Junction Stations instead.

Iarnród Éireann apologises for the inconvenience caused.

Is the actual station building flooded or the underpass to plaforms I wonder? The ROW public underpass is flooded too I guess.

Shame, it's a new station and new civil works. The drainage and sump must be full or blocked.

Thought previous lessons would have though people to get these things right given the amount of rainfall we have been having in recent years. Shouldn't have to go back over these things again!
