Spencer Dock Station Location

I have been trying to figure out for some time where the new loop through the docklands is going to end up.

http://www.iarnrodeireann.ie/project...tion_Map_b.pdf

these two links show it in different locations. There was meant to be a public park built along a large stretch of the canal. This will hardly be possible of the station shown on the I.E. website is built.

The 'loop' you are talking about is referred to as the interconnector here. it shall go directly under the Spencer Dock Luas stop and public square as indicated on the Luas line C drawings.

All this info and more is available in the members section.

Cant get the second link to download. I think (correct me if Im wrong) that the second link refers to the Sherrif Street Station (aka Docklands) which is a temp station being buiult at the cost os 30-60 million (yep) for 10 years where the midland friehgt yard is. If you stand on Sherrif Street Bridge facing towards the point olook to your left, that's it. Stay where you are, look towards the point, but about 200 meters further on, that's where the interconnector station will be, underground, look to the right, there's Mayor street, next bridge, where the LUAS will be.

The key is the words "proposed" all over the place in the first document.
