[05-12-08] 11.00 Dublin-Belfast enterprise

Due to an earlier problem at belfast the 11.00 is a NI Commuter Train. This train is quite packed with quite a number of people standing. Probably due to shopper going north :)

Enterprise - 0800 Belfast Central to Dublin Connolly 5-Dec-2008 7:50
Due to a broken down train the 0800 service from Belfast Central to Dublin Connolly has been delayed 19 minutes and will be a non-enterprise service with no first plus and limited catering.

Passengers for Dundalk were told to get off train at drogheda! Eventually a bus arrived to bring them. An example of poor communication and bad customer service. The doors closed on see passengers including me due to the way it was announced inboard

Enterprise - 0935 Dublin Connolly to Belfast Central 5-Dec-2008 11:42
Due to problems with Irish Rail the 0935 Enterprise service from Dublin Connolly to Belfast Central has been delayed by 50 minutes.
I was told at Dundalk that it was due to a train failure in dundalk that blocked the platform and they had to loop the northern train around the station. Dundalk passengers were bussed to belfast!
