hmm I just tried to book online for 5 dec and was quoted €20 return from dundalk!!!

I checked Dundalk Ticket Machine and asked at booking office... those fares are available there... must be a mistake in the online system or not updated yet!!

Well, it describes Dublin/Dundalk as "commuter" and proceeds to say "Intercity fares are also available online". That, to me, suggests that the reduced fares within the ROI on the Dublin-Belfast line are only available at the station.

true but all enterprise services are intercity! there is no other service from drogheda/dundalk to belfast. i presume they meant drogheda/Dundalk to Dublin as commuter as they also stated no time restrictions unlike previous promotions which only started after 9am

oops i just realised that i had forgotten to state dundalk to belfast in my first post
