Remember; Check Tram and Platform Displays

Luas would like to ask Luas Red Line passengers to check the Platform and Tram Displays when travelling on Luas for the tram destination.

The extension of the Luas Red Line Luas to Saggart opened on Saturday 2nd July with five new Luas at Fettercairn, Cheeverstown, Citywest Campus, Fortunestown and Saggart. This means that trams are now going to Connolly or The Point in the City Centre and to Saggart or Tallaght at the other end of the line. Passengers may need to use Busáras and Belgard Interchanges to change to a tram going to the destination they want.

Trams from Tallaght will run to The Point serving all stops in between. Trams from Saggart will run to Connolly serving all stops in between from 7.00am and 7.30pm Monday to Friday and most of the weekend. Some early morning and late evening trams will run between Saggart and Belgard only; at Belgard you can hop onto the next tram serving all stops to The Point or to Tallaght.

Luas Red Line Passengers remember to check the platform and tram displays for the destination of the tram to make sure you get the right tram for where you’re going or you can change at Busáras or Belgard Interchanges to make it to your destination.
