Extra Trains on Cork/Cobh line Throughout the Week From Monday 9th April until Sunday 15th April 2012

Take the train to events and commemorations planned in Cobh for the 100th Anniversary of the RMS Titanic calling to Cobh in 1912.

As well as scheduled services, extra trains will be laid on each day fromMonday 9th to Sunday 15th April, including a late night Train Service to and from Cobh to accommodate people wishing to travel to Cobh to attend the Titanic Centenary Concert "An Irish Connection". The last train from Cobh to Cork each evening, Monday 9th to Sunday 15th April will be at midnight. Full service details are available via our timetable search.

Half-hourly service all day long on weekdays. It would be great to get to that as a regular features one day.

Some of the trains are marked as InterCity (by which I assume 22K), but stopping at all stations to Cobh. While I wouldn't have seen a problem at Cobh itself, nor Little Island or Glounethaune, I'm marginally surprised that they are good at all stations.

At least regional management in Cork seem to be reasonably responsive to demand in Cobh area - cruise ships, that Fota promotion and so on...

Since its totally self contained its possible to run extra trains easily at off peak

I would be surprised if these trains are not jammed
