[10/11/2008] Belfast Services Effected By Security Alert

Quote:

Disruption to Belfast - Connolly services due to security alert on Monday 10th November by Corporate Communications

23:15hrs Sunday 9th November

Due to a security alert at Lisburn the 06:50 and 07:35 Belfast to Connolly services on Monday 10th November will operate as a bus transfer from Belfast to Newry with a train service being provided from all stations south of Newry.

At present no other services are affected but any other alterations to services will be posted on this website as soon as they become available.
Seems like Irish Rail are actually awake for once. However the notice is confused

The 6:50 Belfast Central to Connolly and the 7:35 Dublin Connolly to Belfast Central are those currently effected. The 8:00 Belfast Central to Connolly will be effected as well, it gets to Lisburn a good bit ahead of the 7:35 out of Dublin
