In my exp thus far with irish rail the 18.05 and the 18.17 to Longford are simply the worst trains to get on. With the 18.17 at least around two years ago is actually a case of being a sardine (I...

Are they splitting the 19.05 into two 3 car trains??

Currently getting the 19.05 from connolly to mullingar.

Yes it's generally quite awful - not as bad as the bus eireann site however. I don't know why they even bother with the reservation system when they only sometimes implement it.

I booked a seat to...

Ticket doesn't go through the barrier? Won't replace ticket.

This seems to regularly happen to my monthly commuter ticket after about 10 to 15 goes through the machines.

My ticket is a 259e monthly from Mullingar to Grand Canal Dock. The problem is when...

Yes i find it's normally very close to 7.26. It's very good time wise imo. It arrives at 7.26 waits a few minutes and takes off again.

The 6.48 tho... yikes. It arrives at 6.48 and is gone literally...

Actually yes. A later Sligo intercity link which could then be used as the early bird the next morning (which would in turn skip everything after Maynooth)?

The commuter train they have coming from...

What's needed is a larger 6.05 train to Longford and a proper one at that (an actual intercity...
