Whatever happened to city centre resignalling?

I was wondering if anyone had any idea when the Dublin city centre resignalling project is due to be completed? There seemed to be a lot of activity about a year or so ago but since then nothing....

Is there any way of making the NTA aware of this? After all, it isn't hard to calculate out the correct distances - the rather large mileposts along the routes should assist them considerably.
