Default People taking risks crossing tracks at Clonsilla Station

I have noticed this a couple of times. Sometimes two trains might be scheduled to pass the level crossing at clonsilla at around the same time. If this is the case when a train comes the gates remain closed.

There are two ways to exit when you get off the train on the maynooth-bound platform. one is down to the end of the platform, out the gate and walk up across the tracks at the lc and up to the bridge/footbridge. The other is across the railway footbridge and out.

Normally when the gates remain closed (ie awaiting another train) people walk across the railway footbridge and out by the ticket office. More recently people have been taking risks and crossing the railway tracks and I have seen this a couple of times.

Last Friday on the 21:55 Pearse Maynooth When we arrived at Clonsilla there was another train due and the gates remained closed. Two people had already walked across the tracks, the third a bloke was crossing the tracks slowly and calmly as the train approached. The driver beeped the horn repeatedly and was faurious at this understandingly.

Something needs to be done about this. Despite the tower/cabin being there not enough is being done and people need to be warned more about this before someone loses their life as a result of their own stupidity.
