A fire at an oil depot in Co Kilkenny is causing traffic delays and affecting rail services in the area.
The blaze was discovered just before midday on the Kilmacow to Waterford Road.
Emergency services are at the scene and gardaí have appealed to motorists to avoid the area.
Visibility is severely affected on the M9 Dublin to Waterford Road, which is closed southbound at the J11 Mullinavat junction.
Diversions are in place and people can return to the motorway at Junction 12 Grannagh.
Iarnród Éireann services between Dublin and Waterford are only running as far as Kilkenny until tomorrow because of the proximity of the fire to the line.
A bus transfer is in operation between Kilkenny and Waterford.
