strike fact
One fact that I did not see or hear being mentioned is, the so called new trains are being driven by the exact same engines the drivers are using for up to 12 years.
Anyone I spoke to about the strike were under the impression the engines were new as well as the coaches.
It should be explained the push/pull mode being used for years on other trains - e.g. Dublin/Belfast Enterprise and Dublin/Waterford - is excactly the same method of propulsion being used for the so called new Mark IV coaches.
Would Platform 11 get this point across to the media? One would have thought IR would have done so?
