Ashtown as Gaeilge?
The Ashtown train station is "Baile an Ásaigh".
The Waterways Ireland sign along the Royal Canal towpath shows "Baile Áis".
Surely "Baile na Fuinseoige", i.e. "the town/townland of the ash trees" (as the local riding stable has it) is correct?
