Default Troublesome passengers

Two passengers were removed from last nights 18:25 Heuston-Waterford train. Both were obviously drunk and squared up to each other in the last carriage between Kildare and Athy.

Fortunately the quick thinking and actions of the 'trolly guy' and the ticket checker kept them confined to the area between carriages until the guard and other catering staff could get up the train to seperate them.

Both were removed from the train in Athy station by the Gardaí with (only) a 15min delay.

Thanks to the IR staff for their handling of the situation, and like they said themselves last night, "It's only Thursday, we've still got Friday and Saturday to go!"

Some points to note from the incident:
- Trolly guy pulled the communication cord to make sure we didn't leave athy but had to use his own mobile to call for backup. Surely the catering staff should have a panic button or radio (even for their own safety)

- One of these guys shouldn't have been let on the train in the first place but to be fair, when he had his mouth shut, he just looked a bit rough
