Hopefully it *won't* be a DART extension, for reasons which have been extensively discussed on this board and elsewhere: the IR route doesn't serve any populated communities on the way, the DART has half the catchment area that it otherwise would due to being a coastal line -- and hopefully it won't just stop at the airport -- Swords is a major population centre which should be connected to rail.
