Not a good morning.

Announcement at 7:50 that the 7:51 service to Dublin cancelled altogether - no reason. Next train 8:04.
8:04 comes and goes and the chinese whispers on the platform tell us this will be 10 mins late - no announcement.
8:04 arrives 10 mins late, with a pigeon stuck on the front - maybe that slowed it for 10 mins. The train makes the extra stop in Monasterevan to cover the cancelled train.

Add in a +5min wait outside Kildare for platform clearance and train gets into Heuston at 9:25.

I also heard the Dub-Galway being announced as 20 mins late in Portarlington before we left. This was announced when it was already 15 mins overdue.

I'm glad I stayed in bed and took the later Dublin-Tullamore train at 8:20 then...
