Default Rail usage 2017

https://www.nationaltransport.ie/new...port-services/

The statistics released by National Transport authority confirm the demand for rail with 45M journeys in the past year. This is happening despite all the limitations. Phoenix Park tunnel has been a huge boost and this lay closed to passenger use for years and Irish Rail had to be almost dragged into opening the route. There are other developments that would provide flexibility in Dublin also if some changes were made such as the Glasnevin junction or the Croke Park station open up. Likewise the Navan link should be invested in along with a spur to the airport. Invest in rail and allow people to commute other than by car.
