Intercity Delayed Train Refunds
The 15:00 Galway to Dublin had an unexpected 2 hour layover in Clara this afternoon due to some sort of point failure.
The ticket office in Tullamore had plenty of refund forms which the station staff kindly left out, when I asked him. Nobody in the station knew that you could get a refund. In fact when he came out with the forms, they all got a shock as they thought the train was being cancelled altogether. The form is also not that user friendly and doesn't really tell you what to do in the case of a delayed train. It was in fact a different form then the one on this website. I wonder could the train annoncer be convinced to say "We apologise for the late arrival of this train. Patrons are entitled to a partial refund. Please contact the customer service desk for further information" or something like that? Also, does anyone know, what you get as a refund if you have an annual ticket? |

If you have an annual ticket they do some crazy division to work out how much each single journey is worth and refund that amount, to be honest thats the only solution
Fact is if your train was 11 minutes late every day for a year you are entitled to zero while in the UK chances are you woudl get 5% off your next annual ticket |

It is quite clever of Irish Rail to have two totally different websites which contain totally different information.

Google ignores keywords its uses a derivative of the HITS algorithm
Bascially if you have links from third parties pointing towards you, thats a vote which indicates your site has quailty since it is difficult to set up the links pointing at you If we link to sites of high quailty it also accounts for something |
