Fares already increased

I regularly buy a return tkt from dublin to Belfast via the web. Before xmas, Irish rail added a 2euro admin charge. This meant a fare price of 38euro up from 36euro (18 each way). Now, on 16th January, they have hiked the fare, up from 18euro each way to 20euro each way. So, my fare is now 42euro, up from 36euro in October. This is rediculous. Where was the notification to customers either of these price hikes??? Not impressed at all
