I'm amazed Paul had the patience to get that many coins in. Can always do it in two transactions

The real pain is that there is a minimum 5 euro top up on the smart card.

Can you not just top it up to the coin limit, then do it again in another transaction?

This is what caught me out, had I known there was a limit I would done it in two transactions but I had gotten rid of most of it and had about 2.50 left... I won't make that mistake again.

They are selling the pre-loaded SMART Cards worth EUR10, for EUR7 for the next few weekends at Stephens Green and Jervis street stops/shopping centres.

If anyone is ordering online, don't forget to punch in voucher code LSC1107 to get your €3 off.

If done with cash it doesn't offer a option

IE ticket machines issue a separate receipt ticket if you use plastic
