Default 15-02-07 15:25 Dublin-Limerick

Got off work early , probably for the only time this year after heaps of OT and got the 15:25 Limerick train to Portarlington (a mk3).

Around Adamstown I got that awful smell like burning tar that I remember from a train before - I looked out the window and sure enough blue smoke was whizzing by the window. I looked forward to a long delay based on previous experience of this last autumn (I think) where I heard people saying it was brakes sticking/burning etc. There goes my free time.

But not bad for IE, the train slowed, stopped, an announcement was made although I couldn't hear it clearly (mix of bad speaker and a screaming toddler) and we set off about 20 mins later. Phew!
