Default [19 to 23-2-2007] Limerick Junc - Waterford

Given the numerous closures this line has seen you would imagine it would be totally relaid

There are loads of track sections stacked in Clonmel, I suppose they probably equate to a few kilometers of track. What is the plan for this line, or is it in the public domain? Will track speeds be improved by this work, pathetic at present?

I have harped on about this line before, still no commuter service from Clonmel to Waterford, and lack of Sunday service means that the line is all but unviable. The number of cars parked outside Clonmel station indicates that usage is still light.

Given most people in Clonmel don't even know there is a train service doesn't help

There are plans for the line which would slash operating costs and speed things up, they ain't public but they are positive

Loadings Clonmel to Limerick Junc in the morning and return evening where reasonable last year
