Default [28-4-2006] Maynooth line service totally cancelled

Reports coming in that due to some class of signalling fault all Maynooth line services have been suspended until further notice

Irish Rail have a great really informative message

Quote:
Maynooth service disrupted by Press Office

No services currently on Maynooth line due to major signal fault
By the AA of course show IE up for the lazy people they are

Quote:
RAIL ALERT: Due to a signaling fault there are is no service on the Maynooth to Dublin Line. Dublin bus will honor all rail tickets in the affected area. No delays to any DART or Luas services.
Of course this proves the online information system is a fake as none of the trains shown as from Maynooth are running

Yeah saw a train arrive in at 830. Colour signals were back working also (obviously).
Heard this on the radio at 730 ish so most people would have jumped into their cars.
Those without cars travelling to D15 from Maynooth would have been screwed though as there is practically no way of getting between the two without a two bus trip in-out of the city.
