Default [19/04/2010] Minor service alterations - Northern line, DART, Gorey-Connolly

In order to improve punctuality, the following minor service revisions will be implemented from Monday 19th April, on the Northern commuter line, Malahide DART, and Gorey commuter service.

Northern Commuter

07.13 Dundalk to Bray will depart EARLIER at 07.10, and will operate 3 minutes earlier throughout.

In addition, a small number of Northern commuter route services will additionally serve Clongriffin Station (arrival times at destinations unchanged unless stated). These are:

07.12 Drogheda-Bray
09.35 Drogheda-Pearse
10.50 Balbriggan-Pearse (arrives destination 1 minute later)
16.50 Bray-Drogheda (arrives destination 3 minutes later)
18.15 Pearse-Drogheda (arrives destination 1 minute later)


DART

07.37 Malahide-Dun Laoghaire will depart LATER at 07.40
08.07 Howth-Dun Laoghaire will depart LATER at 08.10


Gorey

06.00 Gorey-Connolly will depart EARLIER at 05.55, and operate 0-4 minutes earlier throughout - please check journey planner at home page for details.

Of course once again the 5 working day notice requirement of the NTA contract is breached

Nothing new! Has anyone sued cie for such breaches of contract! They are a monopoly after all on the rail front

Admittedly we sought changes in the timetable and when we met with IE recently the issues we raised were accepted.

There remain service problems with Rosslare line services arriving Greystones late thus causing all kinds of trouble.

We are gathering evidence and will bring it to the NTA to demonstrate breech of contract, max penalty on IE is loss of 4 million euro
