Default Crimbo Comp...........

Christmass is the time for good will, joy to all, peace being shared between all men and women.

Except when it comes to decorations. I have an impressive array of such tat in my gaff and I am of the opinion that none can compare.

Sadly......... a certain Mr. W of Naas thinks otherwise.

We have decided to post the pics of our interior decorations on our facebook pages.

to ensure mere mortals with no access to our exclusive sites, and lets face it, we are fairly choosy with who can see our pages, can see what we're ip to we think it will be fun to post them here too.

It also means that we can have a poll!!!!

Dont worry, Derek, i promise not to edit the poll using my frankly awsome Moderator powers to read that, like 999,999 people vote for me and some loser votes for you.

Honest!!

YEAH RIGHT MR. MODERATOR! Like I give a **** about those useless powers.

This is just a downright and simple battle between testosterone fuelled men and their Christmas deco's. I've flagged this oncoming war on Facebook already. Those cherished and "lucky" people with access can view the glory of battle right there. But I accept that the few who frequent this forum, should be blessed with some of the sights (and maybe even sounds) of our decofest.

Let the battle commence Stamp. Its gonna be absolute carnage.

So here we go folks. Apart from the battle of wills on RUI,lobbying and rail matters, we now find ourselves at war over crimbo decos!

Even the biccies & sweets come from a seasonal vessel in my house.

Its nice to set the scene at this time of year with a pleasant led lit display

Even our Bar cabinet gets the xmas treatment with a mini tree and candles. No stone should be unturned.

It just wouldn't be Christmas in my house unless I had a snowy railway scene going on. Here's a few snaps of Dero's Christmas railway.

And finally the fireplace in the living room is lit with a multitude of seasonal goodies. We have the Xmas stockings and religious symbols such as the crib. Its all in there somewhere amid the neon frenzy.

And so we have to finish on the centre piece of the Christmas decorations. A symbol of varying meanings and in my house its 9 ft tall and cut by my goodself from the plot I bought a few years back. Louise decorates it.

I now stand before you to be judged.

Merry Christmas folks and lets hope the new year can bring some much needed positivity.

Bit like Fianna Fail this place. It appears that Tom is leading without anyone seeing his decos.

Just post your tat stamp. Christmas will be over soon.

For the record, your 7 current votes do not count as we havent seen your wares.

Its 3-0 to me and the compo ends midnight christmas eve. After that its irrelevent. If your goods are better, I'll conceed defeat gracefully.

And if you think I don't have an ace up my sleeve, then be afraid, very afraid.

It's green. It's possibly energy efficient, although I would doubt that.

Actually, I think the prize should go to the gate keepers on the Mallow-Limerick Junction Stretch - some of their houses currently look like air navigation aids.
