Iarnród Éireann advises customers that due to engineering works between Athenry and Galway on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th November, the following service alterations will apply:

Saturday 29th November

17.50hrs Heuston to Galway will be a train to Athlone only and bus transfers from Athlone to Ballinasloe, Athenry and Galway.

19.15hrs Heuston to Galway will operate to Athenry only and will be bus transfers from Athenry to Galway.


Sunday 30th November

8.25hrs Galway to Heuston will depart Galway a later time of 9.15hrs and will be a bus transfer from Galway to Athenry and by train from Athenry to Heuston.


Iarnród Éireann apologises for any inconvenience this essential work may cause.
