Default [10-7-2009] Bus transfer Portadown and Belfast Central

Quote:
Security Alert - Central Station 10-Jul-2009 14:45
Due to a security alert outside Central station on the Albertbridge Road, all Metro and Ulsterbus services that use the Albertbridge Road will be diverted via Queens Bridge (both ways) until further notice.

Trains will NOT service Central station until further notice. Passengers are advised to go to next available station. All other stations will be serviced as normal.
Of course no one has had the good sense to operate to Great Victoria Street instead

Security Alert at Belfast Central Station by Corporate Communications

Due to a security alert at Belfast Central Station a bus transfer is currently in operation between Portadown and Belfast Central. Iarnród Éireann apologise for any inconvenience caused
To be honest you are better get off and get a local NIR train to Great Victoria Street instead of the bus

GVS station would be overwhelmed by the level of passengers on the Enterprise I think.

For several months GVS was terminus for Enterprise when the line to Belfast Central was closed
