Default bank holiday monday trains

so what's the deal with bank holiday trains
are they normal monday or sunday times

i ask because i assumed they were sunday times but the 'journey planner' says normal monday times

any insights?

A special timetable applies it looks a lot like a Monday but its not exactly the same

Journey planner is correct and there is a printed one available

First trains from Malahide and Bray aren't until 9am tomorrow and Maynooth doesn't see one until 9.20 making them (IR) totally useless for anyone working at 9am. I'm sure they (and DB) will tell us there's no demand for travel on a bank holiday while back in the real world everyone books a taxi *sigh*

of course the funny thing is is that other than you chaps i had no way of knowing

i took the train on friday - why wasn't there an announcement or even a sign that the bank holiday timetables were available?

just another example for the list....
