Default [01-03-10] Signal failure Killester

Due to a signal fault at Killester, southbound services are delayed. IÉ are saying 10 minutes, although it appears to be substantially longer for commuter services.

The 0712 Drogheda-Bray made Pearse at about 0855 (sch: 0820).

I didn't see a notice on the website, but there were announcements at stations and a message on the PIS.

The signaling fault wasn't the only issue, the 6:55 Bray Malahide did everything in slow motion this morning arriving Malahide at the time it was due to depart at which didn't help, throw in the usual farce of a timetable which is impossible on a good day.

As far as I can tell no notice ever went on the website

Yeh, I got caught out by the delays this morning. Sent a text to AA roadwatch to get them to put it on their website, which to be fair they did. The delays continued for most of the morning, and where up to 25 minutes for some services into Bray per the realtime planner.
I also noticed there were 5-10 minute delays inbound last week around the 08.30am slot.

I was about to post and say the same thing when I came in two hours ago, but I got distracted.

They're announcing delays to southbound services again this morning; don't know if it's the same problem, a different problem, or they didn't turn off the repeating announcement.
