Default Temporary speed restriction

There is a temporary 10kph restriction on the southbound track of the Green line for about 400m after Balally. Veolia say:

Quote:
There is a speed restriction in Balally in place as we are doing essential maintenance work on the track and until such time as the work is fully completed we have reduced the speed of the tram.

The actual restriction begins 20 yards from Ballally stop. There's a similiar restriction heading northbound at and after Charlemont, with a pile of rubble beside the line just before the stop. Have no idea why.

2 years on, and the speed restriction is still in place at Ballally.

There are other restrictions at James and the M50 stretch of the Westbound Red Cow-Kingswood stretch. The latter has been in place for a long time now, the former is particularly frustrating, as it was a very slow section of track anyway. Nobody seems willing to repair them.
