Arrow Dublin Area Schoolchild Tickets

As of September 2010 all schoolchild/scholar journeys must be made by smartcard. Information is being sent to schools currently

Schoolchild/Scholar ID cards must be renewed annually

Complete the following application form http://www.irishrail.ie/your_ticket/...ar%20Smart.doc to receive the smartcard. The form must be stamped by the school.

Do you have any idea about if a similar card will replace student tickets for college goers?

Current student card remains as it is shared between IE/DB/BE and Translink

Schoolchild tickets exist only within the Dublin Short Hop zone.
