Default Metro West Railway Order Application

Almost certainly a "shelved until further notice" project, though encouraging to see that M.W.'s being brought to the shovel ready stage.

I do believe it to be a relevant project, but offsetting the project is most certainly the wisest decision in that funding preference is being given to more key pieces of rail infrastructure.

The RPA are not expecting to proceed with this in the short term

The application states certain extensions are sought over the usual 10 year deadline to complete the project.

The have the design and legal teams assembled, it makes a certain amount of sense to not have to re-invent the wheel every time and to do them in one go.
