Default [10-12/12/2010] Engineering works at Limerick Junction

The engineering work at Limerick Junction scheduled for 3-5 December have been cancelled and are currently expected to be carried out over 10-12 December. This will affect most services south/west of Ballybrophy and south of Galway.

Fri 10th - Sun 12th December - Service alterations due to Infrastructure works at Limerick Junction by Corporate Communications

From Friday evening 10th December at 20.30hrs until close of business on Sunday night 12th December, infrastructure works will take place in the Limerick Junction area.

As a result, train services out of Heuston to and from Cork, Limerick and Tralee will operate between Heuston and Thurles stations only.

Onward services will be substituted by bus connections from Thurles to Limerick Junction, Limerick, Mallow (for Tralee) and Cork.

These Works will involve track renewal work and upgrading of the signalling system at Limerick Jctn.

Iarnród Éireann would like to apologise to customers for any disruption these essential works may cause.
