Luas is delighted to start Tweeting. The tweets will come from Nikki and Jacki in the Luas Customer Care centre. We’ll tweet handy Luas tips, let you know the latest Luas news and keep you up to date on any changes to the service as they happen.

Do they intend to engage with their customers or just use it as a form of cheap publicity like Irish Rail?

Well given they didn't bother to tweet that Connolly Luas stop was closed this morning I guess they even worse than Irish Rail

Only real problem with Irish Rail is a failure to step back and to think before pushing the button to post the tweet
