Default Bit of a shambles at Connolly tonight

For the last hour or so of the day from around 11 onwards, all services through Connolly go through platform 5, and 6 and 7 are closed off. Didn't happen tonight, there were a bunch of people sitting on the island waiting(the screens were blank because nothing is scheduled to stop at those platforms) and I saw lots of people running to get to platform 5 as the last Maynooth train pulled in. Poor organisation on Irish Rail's part.

This has been like that for so many years, in fact Connolly used to lock up platforms 6 and 7 after the last maynooth train left just after 22.30

They would constantly make announcements over the tannoy but people wouldn't move constantly with their earphones in, you would have thought even no next trains on the pis screens would give a hint.

Some things never change!
