Default [19/11/2012] Delays to all Morning peak DARTS and Northern Suburban line services

Nothing on the IE website, overhead displays, or certainly on the train I was on, or in Connolly station.
But there were up to 15 min delays to all Bray bound services around 8-9am. Not sure about northbound services.
Examples:
E103 Malahide to Greystones Scheduled 08.38 Due 08.51
P603 Drogheda to Bray Scheduled 08.44 Due 08.54
E204 Howth to Bray Scheduled 08.54 Due 09.05
P604 Drogheda to Bray Scheduled 09.01 Due 09.12

Any ideas on what caused all the delays?

It looked like a fairly serious technical problem

All the platform level displays crashed as did the online real time information which suggests the signaling system was confused, either it lost its train describer or auto timetable routing feature
