[05/02/13] Loop Bridge Strike 5pm Services Suspended

Checked work before I left for Connolly at 17.10 no mention on Realtime checker of any issue.
Arrived into Connolly at 17.20 screen of red with delays. Nothing on LED displays though????? Anyhow there was an announcement straight away saying bridge strike was over, and services would resume. However, 30 min delays to northbound DARTS and Northern suburban line services. As I waited at Connolly I could not believe how many DARTS were only 4 carriages. Not linked to tonights problems, but at least 5 in a row between 17.20 and 17.35 were all short. One 8 carriage pulled in southbound.
Lots of very unhappy rail users tonight
