Default [29/03/2013] Expect minor Delays from Heuston

16.20 to Portlaoise has failed near Hazelhatch. 17.20 service will take the fast line and usual services that overtake will have to follow. 16.40 to Waterford making extra stop at Newbridge.

Says something that you can have a train sit down for almost an hour at rush hour without delaying anything other than itself !

It is very lucky it broke down where it did. Had it gotten beyond the hatch chaos would have ensued.

Why does the 1640 go on the slow line anyway ? To waste time ?

To waste time no reason with the stop it cant use the fast line as nothing passes. Crawls aroind 40mph so not to spend to much time stopped. TBH very little need for it to stop there as the 16.20 to Portlaois has eased overcrowding and hardly nobody gets off their anymore.
