FLORA WOMEN'S MINI MARATHON

Greystones, Killiney / Dalkey, Belfast

Services from Dublin Airport to Greystones, Killiney / Dalkey and Belfast should all operate as normal, although there may be some delays due to closures elsewhere.


Cork services

Our Cork / Dublin City / Dublin Airport service will depart as normal from Patricks Quay up to and including the 07:00 departure. Due to road closures as a result of the Cork City Marathon our 08:00, 09:00, 10:00, 11:00 12:00 and 13:00 departures to Dublin will operate from Parnell Place adjacent to the multi-story car park. From 14:00 onwards busses will depart from Patricks Quay as normal.


Dublin City Centre services

Services will be operating to Dublin City Centre (O'Connell Street and Trinity College / Westmoreland Street) as normal throughout the day.

June Bank Holiday Weekend

Monday 3rd June 2013 - Women's Mini Marathon Service Diversions (Dublin City & Leopardstown)

On Monday 3rd June 2013, the Dublin Airport – Greystones, Dublin Airport – Killiney / Dalkey, and Dublin Airport / Dublin City Centre – Cork, Dublin City Centre / Dublin Airport - Belfast. Express services will all operate to the normal timetable, although there might be delays experienced in Cork due to the Marathon that will be taking place in the city.

However, due to the Women's Mini Marathon on Monday 3rd June 2013, Aircoach wishes to advise customers that it expects some disruption to its services between Dublin Airport, Dublin City, and Leopardstown.

Aircoach services will continue to depart from Dublin Airport towards Dublin City approximately every 15 minutes, subject to traffic delays caused by the mini marathon. All services will continue to operate as normal to O’Connell Street, but will then be subject to diversions from 06:00 to 18:30.

We are, however, pleased to announce that services to Dublin Airport will still be able to serve our Westmoreland Street and O’Connell Street stops as normal all day.

There are a number of coach stops from which we will be unable to pick up or set down passengers, during certain times of the day.

Dublin Bus wishes to advise customers that a normal Friday and Saturday Nitelink service will operate this June Bank Holiday weekend. There will be no Nitelink service on Sunday 2nd June and Monday 3rd June. Also on Monday 3rd June, buses will operate to a Sunday timetable.

The Hop On Hop Off Bus Tour will not serve the Phoenix Park from Friday 31st May to Monday 3rd June inclusive. This is due to 'Bloom in the Park' taking place and traffic restrictions in the area. Stops 17 & 18 will not be in operation. On Monday 3rd June, the tour will not stop in Merrion Square due to the Mini Marathon taking place in that area.

Due to the Leixlip Festival taking place 2nd and 3rd June 2012, Leixlip Main Street will be closed to traffic. As a result the following diversions will apply on Saturday 2nd June between 13:00hrs and 23:00hrs and Sunday 3rd June between 13:00hrs and 23:00hrs

Route 66
All buses will take the slip road at McCoy’s Motors and turn left at top of slip road. Past Weston Aerodrome and right at Young’s garage past Hewlett Packard to end of Celbridge road turn left and back on route. This diversion will apply on the inbound journey in reverse, turning left at Young’s garage and back onto normal routing.

Route 66a
No diversions

Route 66b
Follow same diversion as 66 Terminating at Louisa Bridge and proceeding to next roundabout after Leixlip Sports Centre to turn around at Hewlett Packard. This diversion will apply on the inbound journey in reverse.

From 0600hr to 1800hr
To D’Olier St:
Normal route to Kelly’s Corner then via Camden St, Wexford St, Aungier St, George’s St , Westmoreland St & back on to normal route.
To Whitechurch:
Normal route to College St then divert to Dame St, George’s St, Aungier St, Wexford St, Camden St & back on to normal route.

Route 66
From first bus to 1800hr
All Buses to terminate at Pearse St (opposite Trinity Capital Hotel)
To Merrion Square:
Normal route to D’Olier St, then divert left to Townsend St, Shaw St, Pearse St & terminate.
To Maynooth:
Depart from Pearse St right to Westmoreland St & back on to normal route.

Route 66a
From first bus to 1800hr
All Buses to terminate at Pearse St (opposite Trinity Capital Hotel)
To Merrion Square:
Normal route to D’Olier St, then divert left to Townsend St, Shaw St, Pearse St & terminate.
To Leixlip (Captain’s Hill):
Depart from Pearse St, right to Westmoreland St & back on to normal route.

Route 67
From first bus to 1800hr
All Buses to terminate at Pearse St (opposite Trinity Capital Hotel)
To Merrion Square:
Normal route to D’Olier St, then divert left to Townsend St, Shaw St, Pearse St & terminate.
To Maynooth:
Depart from Pearse St, right to Westmoreland St & back on to normal route.

Route 70
From 0600hr to 1315hr
To Dunboyne:
Normal departure from terminus, then divert to Haddington Rd, Northumberland Rd, Mount St, Merrion Square North, Clare St, Lincoln Place, Westland Row, Pearse St to Westmoreland St & back on to normal route.
To Baggot St:
Normal route until closure of Baggot St Bridge at 11:3 0hr then normal route to Nassau St amd then divert to South Leinster St, Clare St, Merrion Square North, Mount St, Northumberland Rd, Pembroke Rd, Waterloo Rd & back on to normal route.

From 1315hr to 1800hr
Buses will operate to & from Luke St only.
Buses can not enter Stephen's Green until 1830hr.

Route 140:
From 0600hr to 1800hr
To Finglas (Ikea):
Normal route to Kelly’s Corner, then divert to Camden St, Wexford St, Aungier St, George’s St, Dame St & back on to normal route.
To Palmerston Park:
Normal route to College St, then divert to Dame St, George’s St, Aungier St, Wexford St, Camden St & back on to normal route.

Route 145
From first bus to 1300hr
To Heuston Rail Station:
Normal route to Morehampton Rd, then divert to Waterloo Rd, Pembroke Rd, Northumberland Rd, Mount St, Merrion Square North, Clare St, Lincoln Place, Westland Row, Pearse St to Westmorland St & back on to normal route.
To Kilmacanogue:
Normal route to Nassau St, then divert to South Leinster St, Clare St, Merrion Square North, Mount St, Northumberland Rd, Pembroke Rd, Waterloo Rd to Morehampton Rd & back on to normal route.

From 1300hr to 1800hr
To Heuston Rail Station:
Normal route to Stillorgan Rd, then right onto Mount Merrion Ave Rock Rd, Merrion Gates, Strand Rd, Beach Rd, Irishtown Rd, Ringsend Rd to Pearse St, Westmoreland St & back on to normal route.
To Kilmacanogue:
Normal route to D’Olier St then divert left to Townsend St, Sandwith St Lower, Pearse St, Ringsend Rd, Irishtown Rd, Beach Rd, Strand Rd, Merrion Gates, Rock Rd, Mount Merrion Avenue & back on to normal route at Stillorgan Rd.

Note: Buses using Foster’s Avenue will travel as follows:
To Heuston Rail Station:
Normal route to Stillorgan Rd then via Fosters Ave, Roebuck Rd, right to Clonskeagh Rd, Ranelagh Rd, Charlemont St, Camden St, Aungier St, George’s St, Dame St & back on to normal route.
To Kilmacanogue:
Normal route to D’Olier St then via Dame St, George’s St, Aungier St, Harcourt Rd, Charlemont St, Ranelagh Rd, Clonskeagh Rd, Roebuck Rd, Fosters Ave Stillorgan Rd & back on to normal route.

Tours:
Up to 1130hr:
Tours will operate as normal to Nassau St, then via Kildare St, Molesworth St, Dawson St, Nassau St, Suffolk St to Dame St & back on to normal route.
After 1130hr:
Tours will operate as normal to Nassau St, then via Westland Row, Pearse St, Dame St & back on to normal route.

Bloom image Bloom 2013 is taking place in the Phoenix Park Dublin over the June bank holiday weekend, from Thursday 30th May until Monday 3rd June 2013. One of the best ways to get to the event is to take the Luas Red Line to Heuston.

There is a free shuttle bus on Parkgate Street, just around the corner from Heuston stop that will take you straight up to the event. This is the 7th year of the event. Bloom 2012 attracted almost 80,000 visitors to the 70 acre site at the Visitor's Centre in the Phoenix Park, Dublin.

Bloom has something for everyone! Visitors to Bloom will enjoy cookery and craft demonstrations, free gardening advice from the experts, Irish food produce, live entertainment and gardening workshops.

This year, you can expect to see spectacular feature areas accommodating many interests in gardening, food and family entertainment. The Garden Expert Stage hosts a comprehensive range of leading experts in horticulture, gardening and floristry. The Floral features stunning displays and the best of Irish plants and flowers. Families visiting the event will once again be entertained by the highly entertaining, fun and educational Kids Zone and best of all, kids attend Bloom for free! This June Bank Holiday weekend the Dublin Port RiverFest will take place close to Luas Spencer Dock Stop at North Wall Quay on Sat 1st, Sun 2nd & Mon 3rd June. The event boasts great entertainment, family fun as well as the arrival of 5 Tall Ships!

The crew at Dublin Port RiverFest have a huge array of activities planned from 11am – 6pm each day, including curragh racing on the Liffey, boat racing, tug boat demonstrations and much more. Not to be outdone by the water, land activities include street performers, food stalls, music, bars, markets, face-painting and carnival attractions.

Dublin Port RiverFest is organised by the Docklands Business Forum and sponsored by Dublin Port Company. Luas is very proud to be the transport partner for the event. To get to the event, take Luas Red Line to Spencer Dock, or if you are coming from the Luas Green Line, alight at Saint Stephen’s Green + 28 min walk.

In addition to the scheduled 15.05 Galway-Heuston on Sunday a 14.45 service will also operate serving Athlone and Portarlington only. Seems more of a stock movement as only added late last week. Not in PDF timetable.
