Default Proof that tickets arent checked at connolly.

I got the train after my long day today, but since i got off early i had a 40 minute wait. So since i got a new digital camera for my birthday yesterday i noticed there was no ticket agent so i snapped the area where they should be. Although i did realise on closer inspection of the picture when i got home that someone was in the booth, it still doesnt look like they cared.

Did you not ask him what was up? He looks very depressed.

Depressed? He looks unconscious.

Can't imagine sitting in a box the size of a portaloo can be much fun. Why do they need to be in a box anyway?

Yesterday I got off in Tara Street at about 8ish.. all the ticket machines were turned off and there was the usual guy manually collecting tickets. He wasn't really looking at them, and only looked at mine because I wanted to hold onto it.

Surely the machine is better at the validation than a 1/2 asleep ticket checker? Any reason they turn them off?

They were all turned off and open in Clontarf too... although there was no ticket checker and the ticket office was closed.

Gates are left open if there is no one on duty

They seem to be playing with smartcards which could explain them being left open since the IT guys are working on them
