This is a first, Irish Rail publicly admit to a failed train

07.15hrs Galway to Heuston by Corporate Communications

10th April 2007, 07.30hrs

The 7.15hrs service from Galway to Heuston has been substituted by bus due to a mechanical fault.

Iarnród Éireann apologises for the inconvenience caused.
Note all passengers with reservations entitled to a full refund as a seat of the equivalent standard was not provided
