Default [10.08.2007] Maynooth Line - Damaged Level Crossing

There were delays this morning to Maynooth line services due to a damaged LC somewhere.

I dont know how long the delays were (nor did the IE staff) but I and everyone else waiting for the 0700 Maynooth Pearse just went and got the bus.

Yes the 07.00 maynooth-pearse set departed castleknock at 07.45. There was knock on effects to one or two trains with a cancellation to one or two of the docklands-clonsilla trains.

Glad i did not get it so. That train left Maynooth 7:06 I have since learned.

My guess is that the damaged LC was the one on the Leixlip side of Clonsilla where a lot of work is taking place.
