Default [13/09/2007] Northern line & DART

07.18 Drogheda-Bray service suffered engine failure at Laytown. As was running on reduced power, suffered 20 minute delay inbound. Also delayed both Northern suburban inbound services behind it. Not sure about DARTs.
The displays at the gate in Pearse was showing a sea of red to all northbound + southbound services, so not sure what was going on.
As always, no information from IE. Although driver apologised for the long delay on arrival in Connolly.

To be honest a engine failure won't result in that level of delay, the timetable allows for the train to carry one failed engine

Of course the 7:18 is our favorite northern line train
