Default [30-11-2007] Southbound DART services

Fairly significant delays going south this evening due a train failure at Howth Junction,

Easily looking at 15 minutes plus

Evening train to Gorey is in Connolly as I post this

Yeh, found out 'kinda' what happened eventually.
The 17.28 Pearse-Drogheda (starts in Bray) arrived on time, but was only 6 carriages. But made it to the north of Connolly, and was delayed an extra 10 minutes to Howth Junction. As usual, no announcements by the driver. Rang Connolly info, and they told me:
16.50 Connolly-Belfast service developed a fault at Howth Junction.
Hence all northbound DARTs and Drogheda services delayed. Usual complete communications breakdown.
Drogheda-city centre services also 15 minutes delayed up to 7pm.

I assume this was departure time only...... the real delay was in arrival time...much harder to track
