Question DART closures in October?

There's a big notice up in Sandymount station saying that there will be no service between Connolly and Sydney Parade for the October bank holiday weekend. Didn't take too close a look because I was in a hurry, but that would be quite a nuisance.

Sure thats not from last year. To get 8 weeks notice out of Irish Rail is surprising

They pulled the crossovers at Merrion so in fact you can't really terminate in Sydney Parade anymore

Could well be. I'll check again next time I'm going by.

Yep, the days and dates correspond to last year (although no year is mentioned). Still, it's liable to confuse.

As another forum would say pics or it didn't happen

This is a classic example of the incompetence within Irish Rail

Are IE responsibile for keeping the advertising boards up-to-date? I would be surprised if they were.

Yes they are, ASAI tell us they are not advertising boards in the normal sense.

I saw the one in Sandymount yesterday, last years one alright, no one had the cop to remove it and return it to head office
