Greystones to Bray and Rosslare and Gorey services disrupted by Corporate Communications

Due to an overhead line fault, there are currently no DART services operating between Greystones and Bray.

The 09.30 hrs Greystones to Howth service was in the section when the fault occured. Customers who were on this service have now been assisted from the train by staff who travelled to the scene, and buses and taxis were ordered for them.

Dublin Bus will honour rail tickets to and from Greystones while the disruption continues, and bus substitution will be provided on Rosslare line services.

Rosslare and Gorey services also disrupted.

13.35 Connolly to Rosslare will be a bus transfer from Connolly (car-park) to Greystones and then a train from Greystones to Rosslare. One coach will also call at Bray and then continue to Rosslare.

Buses will be stationed in Greystones if required for transfer from Greystones to Connolly for the 13.35 Rosslare to Connolly.

13.35hrs Rosslare/Connolly service will be a train from Rosslare to Greystones and then a bus transfer from Greystones to Connolly

14.12hrs Gorey/Connolly service will be cancelled

Crews are working to rectify the fault. Iarnród Éireann apologises for the inconvenience caused.

I've always said that Barry Kenny fella was trouble

It reopened at about 2:30pm

The 11:35 Connolly Gorey was also cancelled, either in part (ran to Bray) or in full

At least this time the IE website was reasonably up to date on developments. Credit where credit is due for the improvement. Maybe they actually heeded some of the comments they saw here.
