Default 1305 Connolly/Sligo on 18/6/09

I arrive at 1230 to find 3 Car 22k DMU waiting platform 3 as per departure board.
However the train information shows Connolly as Destination.
The lights (White & Red) at front and rear are set for train going to Connolly!!!
The driver arrives at exactly one minute before departure - i.e. 1304 - and the train departs at 1306.
It is surely unacceptable that a train is showing incorrect information on its destination boards that must confuse some passengers.
Does anyone know when a driver is due to 'man' his/her train?
Train systems must be checked from a H & S perspective, etc.
All of this must take more than 1/2 minutes?

The destination display should be set up correctly before boarding, it takes all of a few seconds to punch in the code for the next journey, its clearly shown in the staff timetable. Thats a breech of the accessibility rules

For a railcar or DART which is powered on, it takes about 15 seconds to insert key, set the radio, lights and close the doors, that said the driver should be there in good time. This seems to be a huge problem in Irish Rail, not leaving the terminus on time

Tests are only required when a train enters service, and time is allocated for a driver to do the walk around to test the doors. If the train is broken in some way critical it will refuse to move

What is the story with door tests? They seem to happen on many journeys out of Heuston. I appreciate they can't be tested every station (!), but is there a time / distance / number of uses limit between when door tests need to be done?

If door tests are carried out during a journey the train in question must be having door problems which is a regular problem with the 22K.
