Travel Advice
For intercity passengers, collect your tickets at any Irish Rail ticket vending machine to save queuing on Sunday
You MUST have a reservation to travel on ALL intercity services towards Dublin on Sunday and for all leaving Dublin on Sunday afternoon/evening
You MUST travel on the trains you have booked
Free seating is in force but only as many seats as are available have been sold
NO intercity ticket sales on Sunday
Travel in the Dublin Short Hop Zone (Kilcoole, Sallins, Maynooth, M3 Parkway, Balbriggan, Howth) is free ONLY on Sunday and ONLY if in possession of a ticket for the Papal Mass
For Maynooth/M3 Parkway, trains every 10 minutes, disembark at Navan Road
For Drogheda/Malahide/Howth, trains every 10 minutes, disembark at Connolly
For Bray/Greystones, trains every 10 minutes, disembark at Tara Street
There will be a Connolly - Maynooth/M3 service every 10 minutes, disembark at Ashtown
Follow instructions from staff, gardai and stewards on the day
Luas services will be suspended in the city centre area due the large volume of pedestrians, see www.luas.ie for the specific details
Be prepared to walk considerable distance
Bicycles are banned on all Commuter and DART services for the weekend
