Default [9-5-2007] Portlaoise delays

No idea what happened here, looks like a train vs person on the line at about 7:45am south of Portlaoise
9-5-07 UPDATE 0900: Customers travelling to and from Cork, Kerry and Limerick should note that services are delayed due to an incident on the line near Portlaoise involving the 0635hrs Limerick to Heuston service.

The line has now reopened following the attendance of the emergency services at the scene.

Resulting delays are:

06.35hrs Limerick to Heuston - 65 minutes late

07.00hrs Heuston to Cork - 70 minutes late

06.30hrs Cork to Heuston - 65 minutes late

07.35hrs Limerick to Heuston - 30 minutes late

08.00hrs Heuston to Cork - 20 minutes late

Iarnród Éireann apologises for the resulting delays and inconvenience.
